ABOUT US
Rafaël Amersfoort is an evangelical congregation with about 800 members.
We long for Heaven to touch earth; we believe that we are already living in God's Kingdom on earth.
In our services you get to know Jesus, who He is and how you can have a relationship with Him. You will discover how valuable you are in His eyes and that you can have a great life with God!
Our church is not just a church for members and visitors. We are standing in the middle of society and we want to make an impact on the people around us. In our city Amersfoort, but also far beyond.

Music, prayer and a practical message.
Every week there's a live service at 10.00, and every sunday we habe translation to English available. If you need our translation service, please report at the information desk or ask our welcomteam.
You are very welcome and we look forward to meeting you.
Our services are contemporary and expectant. During worship we sing contemporary songs about God's greatness and our focus is on Him.
Praising God is led by a modern worship band. We are guided by the Holy Spirit and sometimes prophetic words are passed on during our services.
Worship is really a celebration! And of course there is also a wonderful message.

KIDS AND YOUTH
0-4 years: Rainbow
An enthusiastic team takes care of the babies and toddlers from 0 to 4 years old on Sunday morning. Children are welcome from 09:45 am and can be picked up no later than 11:45 am.
4-12 years: Church for Children
The children of primary school age have their own Church for Children every Sunday. We want to take children into an encounter with God at an early age, teach them to pray and to function in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
In our program, in addition to worship and a preacher, we also have a prayer room where you come for prayer or a good conversation. Finally, you can indulge in drama, dance and sports & games!
12-25 years: Impact
Impact's goal is to help youth and young adults reach their destination, develop friendships, and grow in their own relationship with God.
Every 1st Sunday of the month there is a youth service on Sunday evening between 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm and the 3rd Sunday of the month there is Impact-connect (small groups).

You can reach us from Monday till Friday between the hours 09.00am and 15.00 pm.
These times may vary during the holidays, our secretariat staff is limited then and can best be reached trough e-mail. If you want to visit the office during these days, please contact us by telephone first.
Accessibility of our church
Our building isn't completely barier-free but certainly wheelchair accessible. We are happy to help you get over any barriers. There is also a disabled toilet in our building.
An induction loop is available for the hearing impaired. We are happy to help you with this at the information desk in the foyer.
ACCESSIBILITY
Our location is ofcrouse easy to acces by bike. If you're coming by car you can park it at our building. In the evening hours or on sundays this is possible at some of the nearby companies.
Pay attention! Don't park at: Amerhouttechniek, Kosmonaut 6, 8 or at one of the gyms.
There is (usually) a parking attendant at our building who can show you where to park your car.
Public transportation
You can take bus 3 from station Amersfoort-Centraal to Vathorst. You get off at the busstop "De Lancering".
From there it is about a 3 minute walk to our building at Kosmonaut 2
(see map, from B to A).
